Temos ouvido falar bastante sobre a situação política no Irã, mas o que realmente sabemos sobre este país? Quem são essas pessoas? Neste "post" coloco um pequeno texto de um amigo iraniano, a quem pedi que escrevesse um pouco sobre seu país. Conforme prometido, o texto não sofreu absolutamente nenhuma modificação. Gostaria de deixar meus agradecimentos pela sua participação no blog e por nos ajudar a conhecer um pouquinho desse misterioso lugar chamado Irã.
We've heard a lot about the political situation in Iran lately, but what do we really know about this country? Who are those people? I post here a text from an Iranian friend, to whom I've asked some lines about his country. There's been no modification in the text, as promised. I'd like to thank him for taking part on this blog and for helping us to know a little bit more about this misterious place called Iran.
"Iran, once governed by Cyrus the great whose human rights cylinder is the world's first declaration of human rights. Iran, an old country with rich culture and art where Hafez, Saedi, and Rumi raise from. Here is a documentary by Rick Steve aired by PBS on Google video where you can see more about Iran apart from politics.
Today, Iran is witnessing the blood of its innocent men and women on the streets. Whose their only crime was asking the government ÒWhere Is My Vote?Ó, their vote for presidential election on June 12, 2009. Iranians shouted out loud for their rights, freedom, and democracy. They shouted out by the silent voice of Neda, Farsi term for the voice, young beautiful girl who where shot to death in Tehran and the footage of her death shook the heart of millions of people in the whole world.
After two weeks, in Iran people are still fighting for their rights and they will continue to do so as every single person has the right to live a free life and must stand up for it."

ResponderExcluirO texto retrata a realidade da vida iraniana. Infelizmente em muitos países do mundo a liberdade ainda não chegou. O que precisamos é denunciar cada vez mais os desmandos, como estão fazendo os heróis lá do Irã.
